Chiba bios

The species call themselves the Chiba and their home planet is named Alchiba which is located in the Corvus star system. The Chiba pictured is a female by the name of Lín gé.

An Alchiban day lasts 34 hours and a year is 912 days long. Chiba’s can live up to between 500 - 600 years if they don’t die from injuries, poisoning, predators, etc.

The Chiba have three genders... Male, Female and Intersex. All Chiba look alike, hence telling them apart (and that includes telling males, females and intersexes apart) is near impossible save for three traits... eyes, scents, and ear-rings.

Known data for the Chiba:

• The average lifespan for males and females is 500 years, intersex Chiba live for about 600 years on average.

• The eyes of males are various shades of reds, yellows and oranges, their scent varies between tanned leather, sandalwood, chai or cedar, and the males only have one ring in each ear.

• The eyes of females are various shades of greens, blues and purples, their scent varies between vanilla, orange, violet or cinnamon, and the females only have two rings in each ear.

• The eyes of intersex Chiba are various shades of blacks, greys and whites, and their scent varies between cut grass, pecan, sulfur and ozone, and the intersex Chiba either wear no rings or three rings in their ears.

• The eyes of blind Chiba (save for those of the intersex) will be dark black, grey or white of their eye color. It is hard to tell if an intersex Chiba is blind due to the color of their eyes.

• Only Chiba females feed their young via four nipples that are located over her ‘ovipositor’. Her ‘ovipositor’ is a thin, 5” tube of flesh that she inserts into a narrow slit on the underside of the intersex’s ‘penis’ to deposit her eggs before the male deposits his seed in the same slit. Female Chiba’s do have a small vagina that her ‘ovipositor’ resides in which is very sensitive and easily stimulated during recreational sex and breeding.

• A male Chiba has two cocks the breeding cock is between 4” to 7” in length and around ¼” thick, whereas the cock used for pleasure is between 6” and 8”and is about 2” thick. The smaller ‘breeding’ cock is located over the bigger cock and is inserted into the intersex’s breeding slit just long enough to release it’s seed.

• Intersex Chiba are sterile as they are unable to produce either eggs or seed. Only the intersex Chiba have both a cock and vagina that are like the male and female Chiba’s. The intersex’s second vagina that is located over its cock is easily over filled during breeding. The intersex is the only one to carry and will always give birth to three young (male, female and intersex) before giving them to the female to raise.

• The breeding season for the Chiba lasts two months and breeding is done in either caves or tents and the triad knows the moment when conception has occurred. The length of the intersex’s pregnancy is 11 months. Once the intersex gives birth to the newborns, it will hand them over to the female who will nurse them for the next three years until their teeth and claws grow out.

• The Chiba are a nomadic herd species and yet perform all daily and necessary tasks in private. They are well suited for running up to 5 days straight without resting and can run at a 35mph pace. They have no government to speak of, just two elder triads to advise and direct the commune.

• Adult Chiba stand at an impressive 9.5' height, and weigh between 131Kg and 150Kg and all have the same fur coloration and markings. The Chiba prefer wearing loose, baggy clothing for numerous reasons, to keep cool, hide pregnancies, lost fur, etc.

• The genitals and reproductive organs of male, female and intersex Chiba are protected by a thick leathery 'pouch' that is similar to that of a dragon's in the pelvic region of their body. The genitals of all three sexes look alike but work differently during reproduction.

• The milk glands for the females are in the same pouch as the genitals, thus seeing nursing young in public impossible.

• The intersex Chiba are the middlemen during reproduction, they are sterile, disease free and hard to get ill. Intersex Chiba are not very mobile due to their excellent health and stamina.

• The Chiba bond in three member groups called triads, these triads are genetically bound for life, with the male and female depositing their seed and eggs into the intersex. The intersex Chiba can only carry the young grown from the deposited seed and eggs from its triad mates.

• Chiba are very active sexually, but due to taboos, evolution, environment and other factors, males and females never have sex with each other, just the intersex.

• It is believed that the intersex Chiba may live longer than both males and females as they don’t risk their health like the other two genders by foraging for and hunting for food.

• The Chiba are omnivores but will eat more fruits and vegetables than meats. The Chiba determine dominance by posturing with their tails, kicking and spitting. If a Chiba makes contact with another during a dominance ritual they will lose status in their commune.

• The Chiba’s homeworld is very toxic and dangerous, filled with untold species of poisonous vegetation, carnivorous plants, animals and insects, as well as natural ponds of corrosive gasses and liquids.

• It is postulated that due to the conditions on the planet, the Chiba evolved to have three sexes. The intersex gender evolved to be the breeding member, hence them being sterile. It does take both a male and female of the triad group depositing their seed and eggs into the intersex for the intersex to get impregnated. It is believed that the intersex Chiba can naturally weed out genetic defects in the growing child as well as birth defects and any chemical and genetic contamination that the male and female passed with their seed and eggs.
