It frequently surprises people who meet her that, in spite of all the troubles that Grace has been through in her life, and the loss of not only her entire kingdom but, effectively, the first 30+ years of her life, that she can maintain such a sunny disposition. It would probably surprise them even more to learn that she's happier than she's ever been in her life. Even with her curse, even with her transient lifestyle, she finally has people who love her and a clear idea of what she wants to do with the rest of her existence.
Now if only her creator would let her get dressed now and then...
