Moral of the story is that kick ass alchemy powers cost an arm and a leg. But, i think most of us would say its worth it if automail were to exist.
This is a quickmission I got from @Rexin the other day. I have always been a huge fan of FMA and would go so far as to say it is my all time favorite series still to this day; and can I just say, that i freaking LOVE how this came out. Thank you so much! ^.^
Well I think also what they were going for, is that the memories, thoughts, and personality; effectively the soul in layman's terms aren't accounted for. The base elements could never amount to a living person, let alone a specific one. The missing element in the whole equation is time and experience. To recreate those would require so much energy since every choice no matter how small are what made the person who they were.
