Majin was a tribal bat. He used to live on the forest but circumstances forced him to live in the city. And the worst part of it is that he must forsake his tribal way to integrate with the city lifestyle.
One winter night, he fell into depression. He missed the freedom to do whatever he wanted, he missed the close knit neighborhood, he missed his tribal life, he missed his home in the forest, he felt homesick.
So he donned his tribal outfit, redrawn the tribal marker on his body, and flew to the highest tower in the city. There, he sang.
He sang his favorite song. The song he always sing whenever there is something to celebrate in the tribe. The song of happiness.
Despite the snow, he keep on singing and dancing. Letting himself be free. Without worrying what he should do and shouldn't do. Right now, he is himself.
As long as he have this song. Wherever he is, he is home.
He asked for a bat. A tribal bat who slowly settles with the life in the city. So i created a scenario where the bat got homesick. He missed the life of freedom, surrounded by nature. But he remembered a song taught to him. That teaches that wherever he is, he is home.
There's something hauntingly beautiful about this image and story-snip... It doesn't happen often, but it actually caused a shiver to run down my spine :)
