I love HTTYD and alvin and the chipmunks so this a sort of fan art. In theory, if a chipmunk ever rides a dragon, only a tiny terror would be small enough for a chipmunk to ride on. Well... there are the commoner-green dragon from the book, but this is more from the movie.
From what I was listening to from interviews... the Tiny Terror is actually the way toothless looks in the books. However, for Hollywood they needed something Hiccup could ride... so Toothless became the Night Fury instead.

that too, but i don't think the original toothless have any spike-like membrane along his spine like the terrible terror has. Plus they could have used hiccups riding mount in the book... wind walker or something its name i think, he rode him as a surfboard on a magma flow in the book.
i'm just wondering how they will approach the sequel in 2013... can't wait!
