Part of the reason I've been doing only flat-colored commissions lately is to touch up on coloring shaded pictures behind the scenes. Here is one of the older experiments.
Oh, this is beautiful. I love all the bright, vibrant colors, especially the patch of sunlight she's sitting in and that cute, pink top she's wearing. The background is beautifully done, and the lush detail on the leaves on the trees and the grass all around her is really incredible! She's a really cute little thing, too, and I love how happy she looks and the feeling of peace and innocence that shines through with this piece. Fantastic work all around!
