October 20, 2015 Breeding season is here. Hormones raging, the normally moody but non-confrontational Dorro gained testosterone-fueled confidence and ego. The younger, smaller, more docile Timo was unfortunate enough to come between Dorro and a potential female, and the moody stryx would have none of it!
Leiz grabbed onto the tail of the large dragon - the small feline trainer yelling at his stryx to "STOP!", but not to much avail. At least Timo chose to run rather than fight, and with the cat on his tail, Dorro was just a little slower, giving Timo enough time to jump out of the way of his snapping beak. ---
