This took forever to finish! I've been working on this for MONTHS. When I first heard this song I thought it would really fit Shadow and Maria well. I have another one of these coming and I personally like that one better than this one, but I wanted to definitely finish this one as well. I hope you enjoy! I spent a lot of time on this. The main theme behind this is was based on Shadow's comment from Sonic 2006: "I'll release you from the chains of your past." That is exactly what Maria is doing here. She's releasing him from everything he's gone through and telling him she'll still be with him. The final scene is a flashback from the Ark.
This reminds me of the conversation I had with @MintyBunny last night where we discussed how Maria may been lonely living alone in the space colony ARK with no one to talk to or any way of entertainment like TV or internet that she'd be taking advantage of Shadow by using him to touch her or eat the "wip cream" on her privates while he doesn't know what this is all about being a new born robot.
