First off, I have been quite sore, so little progress has been made, due to being unable to move my arm until a few days ago.
First picture depicts a sketched out version of the title screen. Personally, I think i need to rethink, or shift things. It looks good, but it's not fair on anyone who paid $35 to end up having a title screen menu cut off their picture on the main menu. Will do my best to fix this issue before release.
Second picture shows off a preliminary design for the menus and speech boxes. Trying to go for a kind of 'Cub with crayons' feel, but think it may become too much of an eye sore as the game goes on. Trying to think of something witty to have cubs use as money. I came up with candy (It's a long story XP) HP and MP have been renamed to HPY (happiness) and MB (make believe) I'm getting closer to releasing a sort of 'tech demo' which will be mark the start of selling stage 2 characters. NPCs and Enemies (basically anyone trying to get the 4 young cubs back to the day care, not actually evil people)
Well, I hope the first 5 investors think that it's so far worth what they paid.
I like those changes to the basic RPG elements of HPs, MPs, and money. I can see how it works and why it fits perfectly with the characters being cubs.
