A Misinformed Pokemon Battle

I realized that this picture was pretty much already finished, so I just slapped a background on it.

Not my personal favorite, but I'm sure someone will like it.

I like it but why are they fighting together?

I just wanted to draw them fighting.
That's it really.

Love gut punches. Can I recommend something to try? If you like colored pencils don't be afraid to really darken those colors. Commit to turning that page DEEP with whatever color you're using and then you can have fun mixing them. You can make your pictures look like paintings if you practice with it.

I'd say anything that's professional grade. So not crayola. I use Prismacolor which I'm pretty found of myself. Also look to investing in a pack of razors. If you're going has thick as you should your coloring should create a layer of wax and you can scrape off the wax to sort of "erase" coloring mistakes. But what's underneath will be about the shade you have in your art now so you'll probably only be able to layer a darker color ontop of it.

Interesting.
I'll be sure to pay attention to that.
