This makes me worry that everyone's using pretty much the same teams, as I've got four of those six in mine! I do like the significant size differences between the pokemon though.

Don't worry, I personally only got two (Primarina and Salazzle, obviously). Though I may not be playing the game with the most pure of hearts I still got a pretty different team. A team that is very vulnerable to ground-type moves, hilariously.
