Oh geeze. *face palms* I finished this one just in time for halloween and got it up on FA but because I tend to wait to do bulk uploads here I spaced for long enough that now it's Christmas time. XD Oh well. If you didn't see it on FA here it is here.
Warren stood in the living room as twilight decended outside the Weather home. It was a relatively warm October night which was perfect as tonight was Halloween. Quite a lot of cubs big and small would be all dressed up and out for a night on the town. The Weather brothrs included. Warren had just gotten into his own costume for the most part. The most complicated bit was the Cowl which thankfully had been designed with a lion in mind so there was space to pull his mane through slots so that it wouldn't be uncomfortably compressed inside the cowl. Finally with the cowl and cape on the look was complete. Warren smiled at the costume and moved about a bit in it. It flexed and moved perfectly and Warren had to admit the cape billowing behind him was fun and he felt a bit like a big cub himself.
"All set Warren!" Lig cheered as he bounded down the steps yellow cape billowing behind him.
"I'm not Warren tonight...I'm Batman." Warren said doing his best Bale Batman voice and trying to sound as serious as possible before the two of them burst out laughing.
"Hehe your aweful!" Lig giggled standing there in his Robin costume which was as well put together as Warren's.
"I know. But it runs in the family. So Robin with no pants?" Warren asked with a smirk even though he already had an idea why.
"Yeah! One version of the costume has the bottom as pretty much green underoos. So I went with just my diaper." Lig said striking a pose and giving a big grin.
"Heh. Well you look good boy wonder. Come on lets head on out. Candy calls." Warren grinned and grabbed a discrete diaper bag which had plenty of empty space for Lig to offload candy into as needed. The two had just stepped out the door as Balt and Dylan arrived shaperoned by Balt's dad. The Folf and Cabbit dressed up as Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps respectively. Balt's dad meanwhile as dressed as Chief Bogo. Fake horns and all.
"Wow you guys look awesome!" Balt cheered with a grin as they scampered up.
"Really good work on the costumes." Dylan complimented with a smile.
"You too! Hehe Nice match set." Lig nodded with a smile secretly wondering what kind of conversation went on to convince Dylan to dress as Judy or if this had been Dylan's idea which it had been.
"Hehe One second before we leave. You guy strike a pose I want a picture!" Balt grinned as he dug a Camera out of the diaper bag his Dad.
"I already snagged a picture of these two." Balt's Dad smiled as Balt set up to take the picture and the Ligers struck a pose, Warren setting the diaper bag aside for the picture.
"Oh cute. Heh send me copies of the pics for tonight. I'll put em in the family album." Warren said as he and Lig readied and a moment later the picture was taken.
"I'll make sure we send em Warren. Now come on cubs! Enough admiring how awesome we all are. There's candy down them there streets." The wolf joked patting Balt on the head. With Warren quickly snatching back up the diaper bag the fivesome were off. The evening of fun and frights called to them and it promised to be a memberable and happy Halloween with two Dynamic Duos.
