Character Description
Xander works odd construction jobs since he got out of the military a few years ago. The tall, serious, brooding type when he's alone or focused at work and the down to earth, clever funny guy when he's with company. He has a problem of making friends easily but never allowing himself to get too close to them. This same problem extends to serious relationships as well, resulting in him having not settled down yet. He has a past that he guards jealously and one should feel immensely privileged if he talks about it with more than just a few pleasant anecdotes.
He hates to be alone but sometimes he needs it. He is torn between knowing what he wants and going after it and seeming to always be unable to keep a hold of it once he has it. He still keeps trying to find that magical thing called happiness even though he is pretty sure he won't recognize it if it ever comes.
Personality
Xander is one of those "once I'm awake, I'm awake" kind of personalities. He is empathetic enough to find common ground instead of differences and compassionate enough to genuinely care for those around him, not just the one's in his circles. Xander has a

Background/History
Xander served in the military for a long time. Not a full career but long enough to have multiple combat deployments under his belt. He was one of the soldiers who saw some shit and lived through it for better or worse. He's been out of the military for a few years now and he still struggles with civilian life.
Relatives/Family
Xander has two parents he doesn't keep in touch with any more and an older half-brother with his own family who he occasionally corresponds with a few times a year.
Still trying to work up how exactly to incorporate an adoptable I got into Xander's story. All I can tell you at this moment is she is an adorable tabby kitten. <3
World/Setting
Idk, a fantasy world that's similar to our own but with anthropomorphic animals and different social norms?
Body
Former military who works construction so he's in pretty good shape. He doesn't have a beer gut but he's also not a frequent gym-goer.
He's a big cat so he generally stands taller than most mammals but isn't going to be as big as say a bear or an elephant.
Being a feline, he is also really flexible, which can be really useful while playing party games like twister.
Clothing
Generally you'll find Xander in a pair of cargo pants or shorts depending on the season. He always has a plain white undershirt on whether it's a tank top that isn't visible under a t-shirt or a white t-shirt under an open buttoned shirt. He wears boxer briefs and isn't scared to go pantless or nude.
