Instead of immediately leaping into his arms like this picture would have you believe, I voiced exactly how I felt, first. I told him how I was scared what others would think, that it was too soon, and that I wasn't sure I was ready. But I also told him I was happy, excited, and optimistic. I wasn't ready for marriage yet, but I was ready to commit, and to start thinking of our relationship seriously. But most importantly, I told him I loved him.
Then I leapt into his arms and said yes <3
