I wanted to get a small drawing done before the best time of the year ended. I put it up in a timely manner on twitter, but then neglected to post it everywhere else until now (oops).

Anyways, have a little Spixy out in a classic witch costume. She's the type of kid who fills up the pale with as much candy as it can hold, goes home to empty it out, then hits more parts of the neighborhood. She hauled in 2 lbs of candy one year, a personal best.

Aww, and isn't she just precious? The witch costume looks absolutely adorable on her, and I love how happy and eager she looks. Halloween is one of the most magical times of year when you're her age, and I think you've captured that feeling perfectly here! She certainly sounds like a clever girl, too. Or maybe a better word would be sly. Two pounds of candy would be enough to make any child deliriously sick, but the tummyache would be more than worth it!

The story of the 2lbs of candy is directly related to how I used to trick or treat as a kid. I would make maps of the neighborhood, plan it all out, speed walk it and get as much as I could, then weight it all at the end of the night. 2lbs was my all time record for most candy in a night. My poor mom, having to try and keep up with her kid X3
