Two days later, he was pulled out of that void by a disguised Copper Dragoness: The Lady Alkaphendellas. Like several other kobold, and species labeled as 'lesser races', she took it upon herself to raise, train and look after them. (Think a sexy dragoness version of Father Chains from Scott Lynch's Locke Lamora books.)
Her bedtime stories to the young kobolds in her care usually consisted of either heroic tales from the adventures from her previous students, or cleverly veiled visions she had of the young kobold's future adventures.
