Any midnight travelers through the rocky wilderness would be surprised to suddenly see massive curtains of flame erupt from the top of one of the tallest mountain peaks. There are no volcanoes in the area and the whole place has been quiet for years. Those who dare to look closer might see a figure standing in the heart of the flames, arms upraised as she basks in the heat. Curiously, she doesn't seem dangerous or threatening. Some even report they see her smiling, though no-one can confirm or deny this. Some suggest that she is simply attempting to help weary travelers along the way. Others say she hasn't seen them at all, and is just playing. Maybe those who would dare go up to meet her would make a new friend.
I had planned to write a proper story for this, but with one thing and another I never had time. Maybe later.
