Oh you better believe it, and you know what you get when you do buy the 3DS version of the game...you get to carry more rings. Nothing else, no bonus stuff, no perk or charm or relic or whatever to better the game. They wanted me to spend my money on a game FULL PRICE for just one small upgrade...I honestly dont know who to blame for these games. SEGA, Sonic Team, or the development team they handed the making of Sonic Boom in the first place that never made a game ever until they were given said title. Seriously, why did Sonic Team not work on this?

Uhuh sure...I mean 'Oh no the redesigns are just the worst with.....an added scarf, bandages and buffles.....but yeah there the worst and I have to agree that the classics are the best and I'm not a true sonic fan if I don't yadayadayada.'

Whats the issue again? Just seems like nostalgia blindness to me.

Not entirely no. I like Boom. I like the latest 3ds game, I like the show and I like the designs. They're not something for fans to go on a tirade about. And no it's not "a guilty pleasure, I know its bad" thing. I think this side-series has some enjoyable qualities that people overlook because it's "not like the classics", a mindset that I can't stand because of how ignorant it is.

I'm not even a huge Sonic the Hedgehog fan, and I can tell when the shit stinks in quality. The show itself is unfunny, the entire development time for the Wii U game was a huge joke, while the first 3DS game is more or less intact with the Sonic 2D platforming but the length of the levels themselves are tedious, while the second 3DS game is a little step above the first, it still has its flaws.

C'mon man, you know you're defending a pile of red rubber dildos, don't pretend that it's the next golden age of comedy.

The classics are the best. Sonic has been a cringy, glitch-wrought joke ever since he went 3D - not at all helped by the Adventure-era redesigns, addition of voice acting, and fat-tittied bat which have cemented him as a campy, DeviantArt-esque parody of the furry fandom.

Sonic Boom's criticisms are twofold - because modern Sonic fans are childish as hell and can't stand the most minor change to Sonic's shitty attitude era design (which means SEGA can hardly allow it either), and because the games are fucking awful. Along with horrible dialogue, uninspired level design, and flat Skylanders combat, the WiiU game is actually glitchier than Sonic '06, a colossal accomplishment.

The show is the only good thing about Sonic Boom. The complaints about its cheesy Saturday cartoon personalities remind me strongly of the exactly-the-same argument about whether SatAM (grim burger w/ cheese) or AoStH (six cheese pizza) was better.

Third, take those nostalgia glasses off because believe it or not, the classic era isn't as good as you make it out to be, nor is the rest as bad as you claim it to be. I don't even know why people are arguing about the Wii U Boom game and the first 3ds Boom game when I said 'I liked the latest one'.

I'm tired of saying this but your opinion is not fact. What is a fact is that you can like the classics and hate the rest all you want. I don't care. Well after watching the show and playing 3DS version I'm kinda still surprised how peoples hate it even if it's not so bad?... Dunno, one of upper comments make me wonder if I simply don't have a full picture without ability to play WiiU one.
Sad that this scary picture doesn't include Sticks - she one of my favorites in whole her craziness. Welp, can't wait for actual Haloween special anyways.

The badger is kinda there, she's under the black squiggly thing. That's the closest I'm getting to ever drawing her, though.

I don't like that Knuckles and Sonic are different sizes. They were the original "equal rivals" and should look much more similar to one another.

If Knuckles was at least the same height and had mildly bulkier shoulders it'd be okay.

Well, I got over it by not concerning myself too much about how different they are from originals. After all, Boom universe doesn't really overwrites existing Modern and Classic ones. As long as I se them as different universe that doesn't mess with any other, I'm totally okay.
Besides, since of all Modern things what I hate the most is Eggman-Sonic relationship with their constant fighting, I find Boom series a nice touch with it's Sonic-Eggman shenanigans, even though many characters got dulled out to plainer state than complex build-up of Modern universe(and of all things, I am also really sad that Sonic Chronicles are considered non-canon and not even alt universe). Might be that by chance, one day you'll be able to overcome your hate over those redesigns and see it not been too too horrible. And maybe like Sticks. At least for a bit. Maybe just barely enough to make a fine sketch of her for me to work on.

Beyond the issues with the designs, I really don't like the writing. All of the characters are... well, off. And the humor of the show is just bland and boring, in my opinion. None of the jokes presented ever made me laugh beyond blowing just a little bit more air out of the nose.
As for the badger, I wouldn't count on it. What quality you find your favorite, I find annoying. It's like, 'we get it, you're crazy', and the joke just never stops, when it wasn't funny to begin with. And besides, you never finished that Amy sketch.
