Sage perches upon a kopje, greeting the blood red sun as it rises over the savanna. The land awakens as he hears the stirring of all the creatures around him. As the energy of wild Africa builds around him, his own blood pumps life through his veins. Unable to hold it in any longer he bounds swiftly from the rock into a joyful sprint, overcome with the thrill of being alive!
Just a little watercolor I did of my alt 'sona Sage, in feral form this time, as a bit of a break from my larger projects. Without his usual clothing you can see he is a king cheetah, which may account for his peculiar spot and tail patterning. But honestly I don't think I need an excuse for his cool markings ;)
