The names are "wolf" and "bunny" (written in russian) and I think the wolf only wants to catch the bunny to eat him, but since he hasn't been able to catch him, we don't know. And the I really think the bunny is certainly a boy because of the clothes and he doesn't use a bikini on the beach episodes

i see, just wolf and bunny... but its a hare, kinda like bugs bunny, any ways thanks a lot for that info, also them been kinda species size accurate it makes the bunny look more like a lil girl, also super huge eyelashes, and then we got that episode where the wolf gives the bunny flowers and it goes all blushy and stuff so i guess still a mystery if the bunny is a girl on boy or even if it is an adult, that would make that scene even more strange for a cartoon of the 60's.

It's all right, I was going off their names as they sounded in Russian (really his name would translate to Hare technically, so Hare is also correct but I wasn't sure if your spelling was correct).
I also saw Russian fans wear his mask at the World Cup, It was so appropriate in a way, though it's a shame there wasn't a new Nu Pagodi! for the World Cup (but I may know a few reasons why that is). Plus Russia would lose.
