I'll miss him.. the world will be darker without Faithry.

In my opinion Faithry made the  fandom dark. But it is like the needed chilli in some dishes. You burn you tongue and it hurts like hell but its a nessesary part of it  without it it isnt the same.

Well, yes.. the few stories he made were of course dark and the fans based their stories on Faithry's original stories like; Faithry's Island. But, like th chilli that burns your mouth, people like it and come back for more.

He was an awesome writer and extremely vibrant fantasy.
You and him was the perfect combo.Sometimes is so freaking
unfair.Reminds me when i lost an awesome friend i had that died
from aneurysm at the age of 13.

Yes it is. Felix had another Faithry story he wanted me to do, He passed before I was given any hint at what the new, official, faithry story was going to be about.

I still expect to see a message from him when I check my e-mails.

I STILL expect to hear from a certain guy in Texas, and another in N.Carolina, BUT they may have forgotten me ... last I heard the former had some real problems.,..

Many people do, especially the artists, but this discussion is not appropriate for this memorial. Send me a private message if you wish to continue the discussion.

While we had grown apart over the years, sadly, I owe faithry a lot. She did a couple things things that in time changed my life forever in a good way though I doubt it was ever realized. Not the least of which was introducing me to the most wonderful person I know. I am sorry I did not keep in touch more.  I will miss you just the same, old friend.

I really miss him. I seems we have lost a lot of great artist and writers the last few years.

Looks like this was more likely to be in DevArt,not InkBunny.
It looks more illustration than cartoon. DevArt is more illos oriented than InkBun.

emmet...for once can you please be respectfull, you dont post shit like this on freking memorial works...its like spraying grafiti on someones headstone...have at least SOME tact for once

I agree that a memorial is not the place for an art critique, it is also not the place to respond by being nasty...

I had problems with PrzymKitsune from the word go. I do not understand him.
The pic IS very good. But it IS an illustration more than a cartoon. I'm sorry for Faithry's passing, tho. Too many have gone.  But I did not address this joe and have even forgotten about him ...
He blocked me, so I am blocking him.

I wasn't nasty.

Not you being nasty, prysm's response. It should have been simply stated as; a memorial is not the appropriate place to critique the work since to me it feels disrespectful (like vandalizing a head stone).
To me, an illustration is b/w. This work is a painting and not meant to be a cartoon. IB does have a number of similar illos, but has far more comics and cartoons, which is true.

Rest in peace, he will be missed, and so will his art.  He will be remembered fondly from the talented art he's left behind.

As Faithry kept telling everyone, he was a writer, not a visual artist. He wrote the stories and others produce the art.

Okay, embarrassing... Switch art with writings on that...

That's alright, there are far too many others that ignored Faithry's repeated statements to who did the artwork (see Faithry's FurAffinity page). I think he was getting frustrated that some of the fans were not reading or comprehending what he repeats many times.

The original was sent to Felix's family, they sent word that they hope it arrives before the first anniversary of his passing which occurred on November 8.

Touching and appropriate.

Even the family thought so, as they new Felix's character; Faithry, was an important part of his life.

Just wanted to say thank you for painting this and having let the fandom be aware of what went on, as well as you having worked with him. Was sad to lose him so young, he was a fun, bright dude and author.

He wrote stories, he wasn't the artist.
