I actually don't have a short story for this, only really an explanation of what the creatures in the drawing are. In September of 2016 i was looking for unique monster ideas from different mythologies. I have a gorgon, a Minotaur, several golems, plenty of dragons, a couple of centaur/like, harpies, plenty of cyclops, and maybe a few more, but i really wanted something unique and that's when i came across a Medieval drawing of monsters. Some of the drawings were a bit bizarre others were simple, like these guys. In the medieval drawing there was a depiction of a human-like monster with a single leg and foot.
Right then and there i knew i wanted to do a race based off this creature, however i did make some changes. in the drawing it appeared that the leg was just that a single fat leg, my versions actually only have a fusion at their knee down so they actually have thighs. something else, the "monster" looked too human looking so i went with my normal style of bland, also took away the ring and pinkie finger on their hands. oh can't forget that they were suppose to be much bigger than humans.
One last thing, these monsters were only male, no female counterpart was depicted and of course i had to make both forms. i like how this came out, the only thing i can think for this is, he's been out all night with his friends and she's pissed that he didn't come back home until dawn.
Aside from maybe the one or two drawings i had seen, there is virtually no name or description for the monster these guys are based on, i can't even find a wikipedia page on them. be happy i went with these guys, i could have gone with the monsters that have no head and faces on their torsos mwhahahahahaha
