The day was a long one for the two soon to be rulers, long hours of study and learning the ways of Equestria and all its legalities and social structures. Celestia could scarcely remember the last time she was so exhausted, she swore her horn would pop off at any moment! she flutters her wings as she sits on the bench of the pagoda's balcony, stretching her legs out with a tender yawn. She blinks her eyes as she felt a wight rest into her lap, blue hair draping down over her legs. Little Luna, Celestia's little sister, tuckered out after training with Captain Sparkster with sword handling. To be honest Luna was getting pretty good with a blade, perhaps she could rival that of many of Equestria's finest warriors in time. For now the little warrior rests her head upon her sister, closing her eyes in the warm afternoon shade. Celestia runs her hand down Luna's hair gently, giving a tired smile, "Luna" she whispers, gazing down at the sleeping filly princess. They had been through much together, smiles and tears alike, seen things that would defeat lesser ponies. "Long day, was it not?" she says in a whisper, smiling warmly as Luna gives a soft nod, "It will be a long road for us, I doubt either of us will get out of it without many, many scares...but I promise, Luna, I will be by your side, I will always be here for you, always" she says, continuing to pet the sleeping filly.
