Day 2 of inktober, made a drawing of Katinka, did start to add some colour but i messed up and picked the wrong fur colour, my ink bottles was badly labeled so was hard to tell them apart, same with the content, it all looks dark inside the bottles :p
Aw, well the darker brown fur does look good on her, even if it is the wrong color. She's absolutely adorable, too. The little charms on her backpack are just precious, and I love that big, eager smile she's wearing, like she's going off on an adventure somewhere. Or maybe just meeting up with friends after school.

Oh, now this is just adorable! I love the slightly-oversized backpack she's wearing and her happy, eager expression. The little teddy-bear charm dangling from her pack is a lovely little detail as well. I've always really liked pictures like this that capture something of the essence of childhood, or at least it's happier moments, and I love how this takes you back to the days when the most you had to worry about were your homework assignments for the evening, and if you could persuade Mom and Dad to do something fun for dinner that night. Beautiful work all around!
