Here are the background characters of Monsterville. The left-hand side is the males and the right-hand side is the females.

Top row are the humans, you'll mostly find them in Diegoltun especially in the richer areas in the north. They are newcomers to the area but are already the predominant race around the area game is set in. They tend to be very driven by quatifiable things like possessions, rank and money. They are also rather selfish and prejudice on average.

Second row is the Kanfel, you'll mostly find them in south Diegoltun and in rural areas. They are fairly average and have a large diversity of behavior. They had a war with the humans long ago but hardly anybody cares about that nowadays. They are the native race of the area and although they are the most dominant race in the country, the Diegoltun area in particular isn't so heavily dominated by them.

Third row is the Gomuun, you'll mostly find them in the Gomuun District in Diegoltun. They tend to be very socially focused and in some ways can be obnoxious in how caring they are about things like charities and the environment. They are often sticking their noses where they don't belong, giving people unwanted advice and trying to convert people to their way of thinking. The Gomuun are native to the Olrit area but are kind of an ethnic minority around Diegoltun. The country Monsterville borders to the south is their race's native home so they are quite a common occurrence around the area.

Fourth row is the Regen. They are very methodical and technical and really don't fit in around Monsterville's culture. Their willingness to dispense knowledge often looks like arrogance to others but ultimately they just like to be helpful. They are part of a group called the Mekans who waged war on Monsterville and its allies not too long ago. Understandably they aren't much liked by the natives of the area but you'll mostly find them in Northspark which a city north of Diegoltun and North Diegol Forest. Technically the area isn't part of the Diegol region but they are included in the Monsterville game anyway. The people of Northspark were actually traitors to their own Mekan side during the war and helped the Urgan side, the side Monsterville was sided with, in the war instead. However it's doubtful the people of the area will see through the racial differences and respect them as allies.

The final row at the bottom is the Unknown Person row. If you know of a character but not their appearance then they will be displayed as these sprites.
