Suprise gift art for furiend Heartwood, I used him as a guiena pig to test out a new dirrection I was taking my art. I've been in an art nouveau kick and decided to try and take that art style and make it my own and evantually modernize it somehow. The art nouveau particularly works well with that silk-screen poster look. And in addition to it's appearance on the surface, I used a sort of bouncing whip-lash design to the composition of the piece, the action line of this drawing curves and bounces across the piece diagonally to create a lot of movement.
