Illustration from an earlier sketch. This is a promo of sorts for a short comic idea I hope to complete for Halloween, though the final two main characters' species may not be a fox and a cat as they are here, but I haven't fully decided yet.
I like how this came out so definitely the final comic will look very similar to this, evoking a classic horror film look, and even the story I hope to be inspired by 'old dark house' films, so I may re-watch the at least one I know I have: 'One Body Too Many' to prepare for the writing the story and to try to more so encapsulate the look of the genre.
Anyway, hope everyone likes this little preview image. I certainly had fun working on it.
