well at first he wasnt he just got sadistic over time cause he felt nothing for the people he used to feel for.not having any feeling of love can do that to ya. :P but yes i feel sorry for him... he's dead but he isnt truly dead unless he actually gives up. hes like the only person u cant truly save. and it makes the ending bitter sweet.
