There is a world close in similarities to the current world we live in, however in this world Lysandre had successfully launched his weapon and his plan went through. The world is now like ours, difference being that the world's inhabitants are only human and anthros. Pokemon of all types are no more. With a breakthrough in tech this is where the world's split, one being able to go between realms. This corporation and it's greedy ways spread out to the world, make it a place of greedy and lustful people. You and I exist in this world, everyone does. Or did. Once they bring a person from one world to theirs, that person disappear and the new one replaces them. Say your Pokemon version is brought into this world, the human or anthro you would disappear and no one would remember you. This causes a great strain on this realm but it holds for now. Now with the discovery of pokemon realms, species long lost, a specialist group works to capture these pokemon.
The pokemon catchers is the name of this company, under the control of the original realm breaking company. There are two branches to this business, Hunters And Poachers
Hunters capture with the intent to keep alive, use as paw/tickle/ sex slaves, Poachers capture with the intent to have them as hunting trophies or as food. Like normal hunters
The catchers have stores set up for each branch. With the use of beyond advanced tech only available to the company, anything is possible.
