Lyrics are difficult, as execution and other aspects of the song can outweigh the lyrics themselves. I'm really unsure how most people approach lyric-writing. Anyway, what I have mostly taken from this is a mixed message. It's big enough to assume intent, so it helps the general theme of internal conflict. Having a section designated as rap threw me off because it's a detail of execution that had been missing for the rest of the lyrics. Reading over it again, it could probably use more transition between ideas.
