Summer game to an end and colder weather game to replace it. But not before this family had managed to make a few memories of the season. Appel had led his family far out into the woods, to a clearing with a lonely beach. One he had grown up visiting with his parents.
All to themselves, Appel, Sketchy Skylar, and Keepsake could play for the whole day, and enjoy the summer days that came and went. And Keepsake was slowly getting the hang of swimming too. Perhaps next year she won’t even need the floaties!
