This is a recording I produced of fellow coworkers, including myself, singing Clean It, a parody we made of Michael Jackson's hit song, Beat It. It was used in a skit that we performed during the 2016 Easter Seals New Jersey Annual Meeting. The purpose of these skits were to highlight how each department serves the organization. Having chosen to participate in this year's performance, I was excited when it was announced that our department's skit had won. You can watch our entire skit here:
(Verse 1) I’ve got something that I want to make clear There’s many things that service coaches do around here Whenever there’s a mess, you can bet that staff are near To clean it, just clean it.
(Verse 2) You have to be prepared for any situation From ADL’s to monitoring medication Even cleaning a group home is an education So clean it. It’s a 900 code.
(Chorus) Just clean it, clean it, clean it, clean it Put on some gloves and clean it Scrub those floors and tiles with all your might Make sure dust and clutter are out of sight.
Just clean it, clean it. [4x]
(Verse 3) When using a computer, you should try and be slick With initial contacts in CareLogic Batching errors can occur, so you want to be quick And clean it, just clean it.
(Verse 4) The threat of a disaster is a real known fact Emergency preparedness requires tact If exposure issues rise, you must quickly react And clean it. It’s a 900 code.
(Chorus) Just clean it, clean it, clean it, clean it Put on some gloves and clean it Scrub those floors and tiles with all your might Make sure dust and clutter are out of sight.
Just clean it, clean it, clean it, clean it, clean it. [3x]
