"The Fifth Element" is my favorite movie because it's always fun and entertaining. I love the comedy as much as the adventure, plus the sets and costumes are interesting. It is as much a fantasy as it is sci-fi. It is great with a group of people or by yourself. There is so much variety in the dialogue, characters, and music. It combines practical effects with traditional matte paintings and when there is cgi it's not distracting or overdone. Gary Oldman and Milla Jovovich are some of my favorite movie stars. "The Fifth Element" never gets old. =3
To this day, I will not chance the channel if it comes on. I love the 5th element. I have friends who bitch and moan about it. But to me, it never gets old. Its fun!
