Here's how you grow a dragon in MLP:

Step 1.
Take the baby dragon out of it's egg and raise for about a decade.

Step 2.
Aquire the Bloodstone Scepter from the current Lord of dragons (kill only if absolutely necessary).

Step 3.
Apply Bloodstoone scepter to baby dragon.

Step 4.
Enjoy your new, young adult dragon.
