Field notes 1, Blood Weaver: A creature that might have once been a person, or perhaps it's built it self from the corpses of it's prey, the one thing that is known: it's a deadly predator that hunts the irradiated forests. Snatching prey in it's human-like hands, it pulls the still living prey into it's body cavity, impaling it with it's rib like spines, digesting the hapless creature alive, incorporating it's blood into it's system and using it to spin red viscous webs to entrap fresh meat.
luckily for little Tsubaki here Kikyo her guardian killed this thing before it even laid its hands on her.
