Force Commander Brijnolf looks over the ravaged city before him, the smell of burning corpses still hanging in the air. He was leading a contingent of Space Wolves to cleans this world of the green skin threat, orks, rabid and rambunctious lot. He grit his teeth as some Skyfangs jump onto a roof of a building, creating an ambush situation for the coming green tide. The Rhinos were in place, land speeders flying about and the grey hunters were positioned at defensible positions, ready to take on the aliens.
"In coming!" one of the tactical marines shouted as the orks and humans clash, bolter rounds and ork bullets flying every which way. Cars exploded, bodies shredded, screams echoing out from the dank ruins. This was it, this was the beginning of the end of the green menace.
"Hah! My wartrukk will crush your wolves!" Flurry Heart roars, pushing the 'wartrukk' forward. The young princess was staying with her most favorite aunt ever, that of Princess Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship and savior of Equestria many times over. And now she was an aunt, and a babysitter to the newly crowned Princess Flurry Heart...a task that Twilight adored to no end.
On this night Twilight had dug out some old Warhammer 40K pieces, a game she used to play with Shining in her youth back before he was sent to bootcamp. So many years of collecting and painting those old figures, reading the lore and deviating off it for their own reasons. Twilight was surprised at how Flurry took to the game, she assumed the grim and dark setting would be off putting to the kind hearted child. Perhaps the complete juxtaposition of her light to the game's dark was what brought her in? Who knows for certain, what was certain was that Twilight was getting her flank kicked by orks, and she wasn't about to stand for it!
Annnnd this is the pic that nearly broke my SSD card, all those characters on the table made this thing hell to render, and Windows was yelling at me about low space...so I think it's time to get some new hardware hehe.
