Pike doesn't like when people stare at him without giving him compliments. It makes him grumpy.
This drawing is actually awesome in a huge way to me because Pike's abs have such a depth to them and they look firm yet squishy, and so touchable. I can even hear the sound he would make as he huffs out a frustrated grunt. That's powerful imagery and artistic ability mixed with fantastical imagination.
