This is a commission by SugarMable over on FA of Charlie and Melanie waiting for the big neighborhood picnic just after their school year ended in Chapter 11 - "A Neighborhood's Picnic."
The two kits just after they left school and spent a magical afternoon in their backyard found that there was a spur of the moment picnic in the neighborhood. Of course that meant bumping into their neighbors, the Burundis as well as the other neighbors.
However, as with the previous days, the two kits ended up getting lots of juicy and saucy gossip from their spotty neighbors. And boy do they find out quite a lot. Just too bad none of them realize all that they are learning is going to get them into lots of mischief and a very interesting journey.
