Because silver foxes are purdy, and I love foxes. Plus, most of my characters are from dreams. Rumor was the name of a guy in my dream so I based this fox's name/personality all on the guy in the dream. It was lucky I had the dream after I drew him. He probably wouldn't have gone much farther than design phase. x)
