Character Sheet for Meowstic
Milo is incredibly competetive and hates to be patronized, yet is still very prone to feline tendancies like curiosity and being sated by simple things like nip and scritches (as much as he refuses to admit it)
despite his competetive streak, he's rather easy to embarrass and has gotten a bit too accustomed to human clothing, causing him to be a bit modest, even around his own pokemon.
Meowstic was wonder-traded into a rich Kalos child's family, and had been pampered since he was an espurr, though his humans were extremely patronizing towards him. he was an inteligent pokemon, even having picked up human speech (though he can no longer understand his own kind for a reason that escapes him) and picked up on their mannerisms, but...he was still treated like a dumb animal. it made him very angry and eventually, the Meowstic ran away from home, wanting to prove he's not just some dumb animal.
Meowstic decided a few days in the wilderness that he needed to find the one thing humans took the most seriously and excell in that. he'd certainly be taken seriously THEN. it ended up that the city he had been hiding out in was into Pokemon battles.
he needed to excel at that.
his plan was simple: Steal some human clothes to look the part. Adopt a human name (he settled on "Milo"). Stow away on a ship for a new region to escape his old life. become the first Pokemon Pokemon-Trainer.
Milo never met his birth-parents, as he had been Wondertraded as an Espurr for not having perfect IVs. his Father was presumably an Umbreon though.
Milo belongs in a standard pokemon setting, where humans train feral pokemon.
Milo is by all surprises a taller than average, yet still (mostly) feral-bodied Meowstic with mostly blue fur with white highlights on the paws, Tail, and ears, though yellow rings are visible on the tails and rings, a recessive trait from the Umbreon that was bred with his Mother.
what appears to be a head of hair is actually just the white fluff on most Meowstics' foreheads having overgrown. as for his hand-paws, he's not entirely sure how those came about, but they're great for emulating humans when needed...and holding things.
Milo's clothing is almost entirely stolen from human society, the hat was stolen from a Pokemon trainer when he had dropped it, the shirt and pants stolen from a human clothing store, and the shoes and socks from a store that specializes in plush toys (thank goodness his paws are very small or they'd be a pain to wear).
