Backstory
Selena was both in a semi average family. She has born into a family with two older brothers who tend to pick on her a lot as she grew up, but the worse part of it were her parents. You see selena found out from her brothers when she was 9 that her parents never wanted her. The only people she looks up to are her brothers. They do there best to take care of her and who also try there best to shield her from their parents rage. Selena knew her parents didn't like her but never knew that they never wanted her. The they just wanted to give her up with out a second thought saddened her even more making her feeling more less of herself and believing the words her parents tell her. The only thing that keeps her going are her brothers. they make her smile and laugh. When she turned 15 was the saddest day of her life. Her brothers had to go off to college leaving her there with her horrible parents. She tried her best to put up with them but there is so much one can take and selena has had enough of her parents and finally snapped. One night after her parents locked her in her room and went to sleep she picked the lock from how she was taught by her brothers and sneeks into her parents room and took her mothers lighter and went downstairs. She then went into the kitchen and turned on all the nubs on the gas stove and went back up to her room. She packed as much as she could and some of her favorite things and open the door and went back downstairs. The smell of gas now filled the house to which made the parents wake up and hurry downstairs. Selena opened the front door and walked out and flicking the lighter in her hand and tossed it behind her back into the house. As soon as the parents got downstairs and saw her it was too late the fire hit the gas and everything lite up and the house blew up. Selena had not realized what she had done until she woke up in her treehouse to the sound of sirens going off hurting her sensitive ears. She sat up and looked out the little window and saw her burnt home. She flew out and goes to her house yelling for her parents she was pulled back from the house by the cops as the house was being put out. As much as she looked sad that she lost her home, another side of her was smiling on the inside knowing that they were dead and that she was free from them.
After that happened Selena moves in with her grandparents. Living a more better life and feeling better about herself. She still has low self esteem but shes feeling a lot better about herself now that her parents are gone.She even now goes to the same university that her brothers go to and they are more than happy to keep her safe from bullies
