Lamb on the Run - Chapter 1: The End of the Known World.
Klingons On Our Starboard Bow!
Lambsie seems to enjoy the freedom she has as she walks about the neighborhood to the various stores to get the things she and Fernando will need for their several day stay at the hotel. She had to go to several stores within the shopping district to get everything in one trip, but she manages to get things done. A few set of underwear and intimate apparel for herself she gets from Victoria’s Secret, for him basic t-shirts and briefs in his size she got from K-Mart. She also gets a few shirts, a couple pair of jeans, pair of sneakers and socks for him from there too. Basic toiletries she got from Macy’s Department Store though she manages to find bars of Ivory Soap for Fernando at Jack’s 99-Cent store because they were the only ones in the area that has it. She must have walked over a mile within this 5 block-square area going from store to store to get what they need for their temporary stay[18].

She returns to their hotel room shortly before 12:30PM, finding her Dom sleeping on the bed with the TV set on. She quietly walks into the bedroom and takes the remote off the bed and turns off the TV. Normally such a sudden change in the environment would have woken up Fernando, but he was too exhausted as his body took his available energies for healing as quickly as possible. Concerned from his lack of reaction, Lambsie checks on him, finding him in a deep sleep. She leans over to him and gives him a quick peck of a kiss on his lips before going about putting away their things she has bought. Some ten minutes later she is done; she stands by the bedroom doorway and looks over him as he slept in the bed. Though she wishes that they were in a better situation, in her mind this is the best situation they can be under the circumstance. Years of practice are paying off in their safety and recovery right now.

Though Fernando stated that they would get laptops tomorrow, Lambsie thinks for a moment about getting them now. It is only a short train ride up to 116th street and a short walk to 118th street to the brownstone Fernando’s family live in and own when in New York City for their college studies. Though she has her own room within the brownstone next to his, most of the time she sleeps with him in his room. But such a trip would take an hour, time she thinks on whether or not they can afford. The other option she thinks about is buying a new small and cheap laptop for them to use in the interim. The problem is the closest store would be the Staples Office Supply store on 40th street and 5th Avenue, over a mile and a half away.

With one final thought, she quietly walks to Fernando, giving him a kiss on his cheek and whispers in his ear, “I’ll be back soon, my love.”

Lambsie leaves the hotel suite, leaving the hotel from the 7th Avenue side to catch a cab to take to the Staples store on 40th street and 5th Avenue. Getting into the cab, she closes the door and tells the driver where to go when the door opens again and a wolf in a suit gets in.

“Dion, what the fuck are you doing here?!!” Lambsie tells him.

Dion, her first Dom, pulls a gun from his suit pocket and jabs it at her side, letting out for the cab driver to hear, “Fulton and Water Street, and make it snappy!” He then slides the partition closed between the driver and the passenger section.

“What do you want, Dion?!! You are no longer my Dom! Fernando is!” Lambsie tells him.

“We are going to make a deal, Fernando wants you? Fernando gives us back that list. He gives us back that list, I return you to him, I put a bullet to his head, he dies, and you become my Sub once again.” Dion tells her.

“I’d rather die than be your Sub again.” She tells him.

“I’m sure that can be arranged, but I would prefer to keep you alive. Now, where does Fernando keep the list?” Dion says and asks.

“I don’t know. Even if I did, I would not tell you!” She tells him.

“Then have it your way for now. In time you will be bowing to my demands like a good little sub soon enough.” He tells her.
