This is a commission I got from Subdivisions on FA of my hatchling character Patricia 'Pastie' Silverwing.
Patricia Silverwing's nickname is pretty simple, it came from her having pastel-colored scales...at the same time it's fitting for her very juvenile behavior at times. She's a kindergarten teacher who is less mature than her students...but not her not and nothing she is ashamed of either. She was born that way and given a dragon's long lifespan she passed it off as having a long childhood. 'Pastie' likes to be a little girl and dresses that way when she can get away with it; in fact her students have another nickname for her; 'Pamper Pastie' because they can all she her diapered bottom. Also not her fault, she doesn't go out of the way to show it off either.
She also has a unique living situation herself. A couple of years prior due to an incident that affected both her family and the family of foxes, she took it upon herself to adopt a little boy named Brett. She is his legal guardian and adopted mother...but making sure Brett had a home wasn't the only thing she wanted. Like her, Brett had a little side and didn't feel quite right and so she wanted to really take care of him. They share just about everything in their home (though the kit does have a bedroom of his own) and have a very tender and innocent relationship together. In time though, knowing how fond of her Brett is, she also hoped that the two could evolve their bond together. To her, Brett is someone so special that she hopes he won't let go of her.
But as kids grow up, new experiences cross the paths of kits...but will Brett remain that close to 'Pastie?'
