OK. I can explain. The other day my best friend calls me and is like
" KARLA, I re-opened my tumblr and I need an avatar! Could you sketch one out for me? It's okay if you're busy" and I can never turn down my best friend, especially if it's just a sketch, it takes me like 2 minutes.
Me: Duh, what do you want? :D
BFF: ANYTHING!! LET YOUR CREATIVE JUICES FLOW!
Me: Oh no.
BFF: I can already imagine that laugh and smile you do and you're gonna do something wierd....

So...what first popped into my head was a mermaid with fat lips and tentacles for a tail....and this gorgeous stud came out instead. IZENT HE BIOTIFUHL?

I'd have to say monster doodles are one of my absolute favorite things to draw, I love them.
