The sound of the wind blows gently through the forest, the leaves shivering and whistling through the summer air.  The cold calm river wove its way through the earth, twisting and turning, brining the precious water to parts unknown.

Out from the bushes came a fox, a young kit who's fur was as blue as the water, with a white belly and tattoo like markings on her arms and thighs.  Krystal was her name, a young energetic girl who was in the midst of returning home after a growling training session for her future as a warrior of her tribe.  A truly honorable position for her.  At this time she was on her way home through the forest to meet up with her mother and father, to forge her very own staff, the weapon of choice for her family along with intense martial arts.  Should proved herself that day, having shown a strength and determination the likes of which her mother had in her own youth.  To say her parents were proud would be an understatement.  The little fox's smile only grew when she was told to take it easy for a while, to rest until it was time for her to gain her weapon, and she chose that time to walk along the river heading towards the lake her village rested near, her ears taking in the gentle trickle of the water as she walks.  She stops and stretches with a yawn, her muscles aching from the intense workout her mother put her through, and her fur matted in sweat and her clothes dirty from being tossed to the ground during training, all in all a good day for her.

Her nose picks up the soothing scents of nature, grass, trees, water, the crisp air, who could ask for a more peaceful life?  Krystal wanders to the shore, slipping her sandals off and sitting down, plunging her feet into the cool water.  Her feet swirl in the water, making little splashes and waves that cascade over the shore and rocks, the temperature perfect for a dip.  She ponders that thought, it was a hot day and she was still a little warm and sweaty from the training, plus she was alone after all, all by herself in these woods.

With a gulp she pulls her feet out and stands, gripping her shirt and tugging it off and plopping it on the ground.  Her fingers grasp and undo her belt, tugging loose the laces of her pants and pulling them off as well.  She takes one last look around the area before sliding her undergarments down her legs and letting them sit where she pushed them down.  After she takes off her head piece and tiara and was soon as naked as the day she was born.  Finally she slides into the river, gasping as she was instantly chilled, "Ahhh" she sighs, happy to be out of the heat finally.  She kicks off from the shore, gliding through the crisp water, cleaning her of the tense workout, cleaning off the sweat and dirt and banishing the summer heat.

As Krystal swam and splashed she was oblivious to the one watching her.  Aleia watches her daughter have her fun in the river, smiling warmly.  Her heart swells with pride even still, her daughter was a warrior through and through, able to take her own mother out even at her age.  Her butt still stings from that landing.  She smiles at the memory, the determination of her daughter making her heart swell.  Krystal earned all rights to be called a warrior, at the very least one in training.  Aleia hangs back for a while, watching over Krystal's clothes, making sure that no naughty animal or someone from the village snatches them away.
