Well, here it is. Jeta’s equipment! Finally done. I...actually like how it turned out. Even with a lot of little things that went wrong with designing the armor, I had a lot of fun putting it together. I did this mostly because I said I would, and I’ve been thinking of starting a little project involving Jeta…
Description of equipment bellow:
Seadrowned Fullplate:
Captain Bulton was known as a crusader, hunting down the evil of the world, seeking to make the world a better place. It was hard to miss him, as he parade around in shining armor as he journeyed throughout the land. On his journey, he became powerful, and with his power came a sort of...corruption. He became obsessed with the Abyss; a realm of evil and immense power. As he pumped himself full of power siphoned from the abyss, his armor, which was heavily enchanted, fed from the excess magic. As the corruption took him, his body began to fail. His armor began to show signs of the as well corruption, falling apart and losing its brightness. He lost the ability to walk as his body became frail. That was solved by further enchanting of his armor. But one day he came across another crusader; Lady Annabella. She had set out to stop him, determined to bring him back to the light, but when she found him it was obvious that he was too far gone. Upon Bulton's ship, The Bolt, they fought. When the battle came to it's finale, Captain Bulton stood fast at the helm of his ship and went down with it, as he believed a captain should. Even as his crew surrendered, or fled. It was in the wreckage of the Bolt that Jeta found the armor, and the skeleton of Captain Bulton, still at the helm. It was what was left of Bulton's pride that sank into the armor, imbuing it with further magical properties of the sea and locking it in it's form.
Crescent Moon Scythe:
Aboard the war galleon Gantella, coming home after a crusade from nearby isles to rid the world of the influence of the Abyss. On the isle of Moon, there rose a tribe of ponies that worshiped the Abyss and sought to extend it's influence into the world. Crusaders were dispatched, among them was Lady Annabella. The leader of the cult was a mad pony, guided by the Abyss. But he was also a master craftsman, and an enchanter. He created the Scythe, whose true name has been lost at his death and the slaughter of his followers. During its creation he begged and pleaded with the Abyss to imbue the scythe with power and let it's will flow through it. It was used in the slaughter and sacrifice of many innocents, a perversion to the intent of the darkness. When the Crusaders came for them, they had no help from the Abyss. It was placed among the hundreds of weapons in the hold of the Gantella, to be brought to the palace and placed in the armory, or sold. But a storm, the worst in centuries hit the vessel. The Crusaders, all of whom were tired and weary from their battle with the cultists, could do nothing and the ship, along with all those aboard, was lost. With a gentle divine guidance, Jeta was lead to the wreckage a few days later, forcing the Scythe back into the hooves of another the Abyss has given power.
The Opal of Lady Annabella:
Lady Annabella was a powerful unicorn, a Crusader of Celestia. Her most notable item was her pendant. A large, flawlessly and beautifully cut opal of shifting colors, which she was known for always wearing on her and the only item she ever held pride in; a gift given to her by Celestia to help her combat the Abyss. When it was obvious that she was to die, she imbued it with her power in the hopes that it would help somepony. It was not her intent for it to fall into the hooves of a pony counter to her. For Jeta, it gives her an odd comfort, as if everything will be alright. Jeta does not take pride in anything, but it is of great value to her and she spent months making the pendant that she felt honored the beauty of the stone.
