Great darkness was falling over the world. Lady Lancerina had to fight it, and so, she looked for people who were interested in joining her ranks and slay the great evil. That lead her to a small village, mostly populated of animal people, near a lake.
The first thing she saw was absolutely outrageous for her. A black panther was incurring in lascivious acts with five feline females. Yup, those antics couldn't be tolerated if they were to defeat the threat. Herself being a paladin, couldn't fathom how someone could disregard the word of the God of Kindness in such a reckless manner. They should know better that their souls would burn in despair if they chose not to follow the right path. Maybe some preaching would remind him of his destiny in case he didn't comply.
Darken, finally done with his session, gathered near his friends, as the human explained them the great evil, and what they weren't supposed to do. He was concerned about this mad man trying to take over the land, but he couldn't give less fucks of her senseless lecturing on everything else. All her stupid blah blah blah was really a major annoyance. He would never give up his two passions: fucking girls and killing guys. And after seeing she never did a thing but always stole all the credit to her teammates, he was getting really fed up of her. If she didn't shut the fuck up, he would do that, permanently. In some way.

Yes, they were teammates. Why did he put up with her? Well, they needed to join forces to defeat a bigger menace.
