As the sun shone through the window behind her and the silk drapes swayed a little in the slight breeze, Jess hummed a sly little tune to herself and danced across the room, the gold bangles of her costume jangling softly with every move. The outfit was a souvenir from her old life, one she hadn't told anyone about before. That it still fit was a wonder, and she smiled a little to herself as she imagined the look on her beloved's face when she came home that evening.
