How long can a mouse go on trying to get the cheese without getting tired? (or before he falls dead!)

Everybody knows that one of a cat's favorite pastimes is teasing mice, and having one so close to myself, when you receive another fellow spotty cat visit it's normal that ideas arise! We could be doing that for hours.
