So, I joined this site called Furvilla, right?
I've been waiting for them to open up for the LONGEST!
And, they did! For a week! And, it's in Beta...
Anyway! They have these things called "Painties" and the idea behind them is that you can make your OC and/or Fursona out of them!
I'm currently having one made of Sonja and I'm trying to find someone for Di and Ben.
I spent four hours on this one for Di and was going to start on Ben, but because this one was SO MUCH WORK, I cancelled.
I was sleepy and my mom somewhat discouraged me with her "compliment" of "Okay."
I'm upset I spent that much time making a Rigbybestie-style Furvilla Paintie drawing of Di only for me to scrap the design, because... well... she still looks WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too close to Medic... and someone already had a Paintie taken down over that...
And, I REFUSE to have Di's Paintie taken down because "she looks too similiar to Medic".
As you can see, I originally had the idea for her to only wear a portion of the outfit, because I dunno, when animals wear only a bit of clothes it's as cute as when they wear a whole outfit.
I changed the idea behind that to this outfit: [Link Soon], which I think works better.
It's not too similar, right? ...
Okay, I'm done with this, the colors are different, there's no TF2 stuff, why in the heck would it count?!
What, because they're both doctors? And, wearing labcoats? And, glasses? And, gloves? And, that ou-- okay, I need a lawyer, I'm incriminating myself.
Daniel: Daniel, Attorney at Law!
Me: Oh, thank GOODNESS! ...hey, I wonder where Di'angelo went...
Daniel: *sweats and chuckles nervously* ...y-yeah, I wonder, too...
But, really, EVERY SINGLE TIME a character wears those things they're automatically ripping off another character? Uhh... no.
I promise that I was trying to be original with her design in the new pic. I got the colors from a REAL labcoat, I used an outfit that I made up, I used the glove design that I thought of from the Mouse AU from Teufort Times, pince-nez and goggles aren't really trademarked and I thought of the Medic tag (okay, I'm sure I didn't create the idea behind them, but it was my idea to design and add it, with the importance behind it). That tag isn't a fashion accessory, it's serious business. That's an official sign she's a doctor. And, she can get in trouble for not having it and someone else can get into trouble for stealing it and impersonating a doctor. Again, serious business. Does that exist in TF2? Nosiree, Bob. As much as I want Di to be a Medic in Furvilla, the risk of lawsuits (I thought Valve was chill with fan stuff?) is too great and so I have to go to the original design route. Not that that's a problem! Di's pretty decorated, if I do say so myself!

I honestly think Di looks very cute in this!
I also think I did a pretty good job imitating Furvilla's/Kiwiggles' style!
I love Di's Pacman eyes and her cute, purple shiny nose and her cute widdle mouth! D'aww, that widdle tongue!
Her teeny collar is cute as well!
She's just adorable all around! I think the four hours spent on this was worth it!
